The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008.

Period: 2024-10-31 to 2025-04-30 (full-time), with a possibility of extension.

About the role

Our client is focused on engineering work that enables international markets. They build internationalization libraries, localization infrastructure, and translation system integrations. Their systems help ensure a rich and engaging experience for people all around the world.

They are currently seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a focus on backend engineering to help consolidate their localization infrastructure. They are looking for someone who understands modern cloud computing and network architecture, and knows how to map technology solutions to business requirements.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities include the development of new, standards-based localization services designed to consolidate critical aspects of the client's localization infrastructure, while maintaining localization quality and improving efficiency at scale. As an engineer in this area, you will have the opportunity to be part of the development of new technologies within an existing service infrastructure.

Who you are

• You are a skilled backend engineer with experience building and scaling services in Java.
• You are comfortable working across the stack and have experience with frontend app development using React and Next.js.
• You have excellent problem-solving and fast decision-making skills with a strong bias for action.
• You have strong writing and communication skills, and are comfortable driving engineering deep dives and workshops, as well as stakeholder demos.
• You are self-driven and can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with internationalization and localization is a plus.
