HP Product Sales Specialist
We are currently looking for an HP Sales Specialist to join us in a consultant assignment with our client TD Synnex. I this role you will be working with TD Synnex to manage their business relationship with one of the largest IT providers. This exciting role involves a significant focus on acquiring new partners, introducing and integrating them into the ecosystem, and driving growth through various strategic initiatives. About the job
Period: This is a 12 month's assignment with start ASAP, with possibility of extension.
The role involves building excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge under supervision. It includes generating new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and having general conversations around solution or product areas.
Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets is essential, as is proactively developing relationships with key internal and external contacts. The job requires engaging in active inside selling by using various sources to gain information on customers and utilizing this to maximize call potential and outcomes.
Managing customer backorders with specialist knowledge and engaging in "intelligent project fishing" is also part of the role. In AS, the individual either manages projects end-to-end or hands them over to pre-sales for technical requirements. The role involves providing, selling, and negotiating product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions, ensuring that TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers. Attaining key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer engagement is crucial.
Additionally, the role includes selling the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and the company's value proposition, developing partner relationships (including account planning and cross-selling), and identifying project opportunities while engaging with BDMs if specific product or vendor knowledge is required.
What you'll do
• Drives sales of specific products/ vendors if specific knowledge is required
• Provides accurate and timely quotations (SMB Managed (AS), SP/ E-Var/ SI segment, Specialists (IBM), entire AS BUs)
• Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX’s CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities
• Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting
• Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information
Who you are
• 1-2 years of experience
• Numerate with good attention to detail
• Excellent telephone manner
• Priority management and planning skills

• Good relationship building
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM
• A knowledge of product set would be desirable but not essential
• IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential
