About the job
We are looking for an experienced consultant to support our client’s Tech Operations team during a parental leave. The role is central to ensuring that their devices, applications, and identity management run smoothly in a global and modern environment.
Our client operates with an identity-first architecture where security, access, and user experience are driven by identity rather than the network. This is complemented by a cloud-first strategy with zero trust, modern security principles, and high availability as a foundation. Their identity environment is based on Okta combined with Entra, and experience with either platform is a plus for this role.
The work includes device management via Intune and Jamf, onboarding and access management of SaaS applications, as well as technical troubleshooting in close collaboration with Tech Support.
You will also operate in a hybrid environment with both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, along with a modern collaboration platform based on Slack and Zoom, working globally, quickly, and with a strong focus on effective communication and simple user experience.
What you'll do
- Managing devices and applications with Intune and Jamf
- Identity management and application access in Okta, as well as onboarding new applications (groups, access, and automation). Experience with Entra is a plus.
- Supporting Tech Support as a technical escalation point for more complex troubleshooting
- Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) for maintenance and improvements
- Ensuring correct software configuration and updates
- Communicating with the global support team and coordinating issues
- Working in a modern, cloud-based IT environment with a focus on security, scalability, and good user experience
Who you are
- At least 2–3 years of experience in IT support/Tech Operations or similar
- Experience in global and modern IT environments is a plus
- Device and application management with Intune and Jamf
- Identity management in Okta, or experience with Entra
- Scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
- Understanding of cloud-based applications, SaaS environments, and identity-first architecture
- Understanding of modern security principles (zero trust, compliance, MFA, etc.)
- Self-driven and structured
- Strong communication skills in international teams
- Flexible and solution-oriented
