Product Designer
The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a Product Designer to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008.
Period: Asap to 2026-12-21 (full-time), with a possibility of extension.
About the role
Our client is redesigning its content reporting experience as part of a regulatory compliance initiative (DSA/VLOP+). The current flow is friction-heavy, inconsistently implemented across surfaces, and hasn't kept pace with what users, or EU regulatorsexpect. We're rebuilding it.
The work spans the full mobile reporting flow, with reach across desktop and web. It touches signed-in users, signed-out users, and users with no our client account. It needs to feel native, reduce friction significantly, and still capture the structured intake that our client's Trust & Safety and Legal teams rely on for EU transparency reporting.
This isn't a greenfield brief, there's an existing product brief, a previous team's reference designs, and live competitive research available. The designer won't be starting from zero; they'll be inheriting context and driving it forward.
A core experimental thread within this project is exploring whether an LLM can gather and classify user-reported feedback in real time, replacing the current static taxonomy with a more conversational, guided input. The designer will help figure out what that interaction looks like: how to make it feel natural and low-effort for users while still producing structured, trustworthy data on the backend. There's no predetermined answer here, this is genuine experimentation.
What you'll do
Conduct a full audit of the current reporting flows and identify key friction points and gaps
Design end-to-end reporting experiences across mobile, web and desktop
Create scalable UX flows covering different user states (signed-in, signed-out, no account) and jurisdictions
Develop concepts in Figma, including content selection, reporting reasons and confirmation states
Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, Legal and Trust & Safety teams
Drive multiple parallel initiatives and contribute to scope discussions and prioritization
Explore and define how AI/LLM-driven interactions can be integrated into the reporting flow
Deliver annotated designs and clear specifications ready for engineering handover
Present insights, trade-offs and recommendations to stakeholders
Who you are
You have experience designing complex UX, ideally within trust & safety, compliance or reporting flows
You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and adapting to evolving regulatory requirements
You have experience working in cross-functional environments with stakeholders such as Legal, Policy and Engineering
You are confident owning end-to-end design work, from research and concept to delivery
You have strong attention to detail while maintaining a high-level, strategic perspective
