The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008.

Period: ASAP to 2026-07-18 (full-time), full-time), with a possibility of extension.

About the role

Artwork imagery plays a vital role for millions of users every day to discover their next favourite playlist. Client's teams that manage app merchandising require data science support on how to optimise and personalise the visual user experience. We are looking for an experienced (5+ years) Data Scientist with a strong experimentation and product background to join our client's team for a 6-month contract.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and execute A/B experiments across multiple different surfaces, effectively driving robust decision-making and understanding the impact of our work on users.

• Perform analyses on large datasets to extract practical insights on the user experience that will help drive business decisions, with a special focus on editorial and design systems.

• Define success metrics and propose an effective measurement strategy to capture the impact of product features and mission progress.

• Communicate quantitative insights and recommendations to key collaborators across all levels of seniority.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams of software engineers, product managers, designers, and others across the company who are passionate about client’s success.

• Be an active member of the company-wide data science community.

Who you are

• You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role as a Data Scientist and are proficient in analyzing complex data using SQL (Google BigQuery), Python, or R.

• You possess strong foundational knowledge with practical experience in designing and analyzing experiments.

• You are well-versed in various analysis techniques, such as linear and logistic regression, significance testing, and statistical modeling.

• You have a track record of collaborating with engineers in the product development process, helping them shape projects and translate open-ended questions into concrete analysis plans.

• You are proficient in creating insightful dashboards using Tableau, Looker Studio or other BI tools.

• Previous experience related to visual optimization is a strong plus but not a requirement
